Des réflexions sur le chytil peut-être atteindre 30 buts et plus de 50 points ? Son avenir étant un point par match, et des idées de contrats ? Je pensais à un contrat 5-5 mais cela semble faible maintenant ?

If Fil signed a 5×5 today I would see it as an absolute win for us

I would love to lock him in to 7×7 but cap space won’t allow that
This might be controversial but I think this is the last season both Goodrow and Lindgren end up playing with the Rangers

I’m not sure what the total number will end up being, but I think the smartest move would be Chytil signing a 1 year deal with an extension agreed upon to sign on the following Jan 1st. It lets us keep his cap hit down a bit while we’re going to be crunched this summer, but locks in a long-term deal when some more space opens up. Would be great if we did the same with Miller to get him locked up long-term as well, but it’d probably only need to be one or the other on a 1+extension deal if we trade away Goodrow.

Short bridge to buy us time.

if i was NYR i’d shape the entire offseason cap space around matching Chytil’s contract to Trocheck’s (the contract NYR should’ve given Chytil after that playoffs). Miller needs a 7 year extension too. have to move out all the deadweight
these are the problems a team runs into when they get impatient with the players they themselves bring in during a rebuild. the core of the cap space should’ve been given to players like Chytil/Miller/Laf/Kakko/etc. but this is where we are

biggest difference this season?
and the thing that laf and less so KK don’t have yet –
he physically looks like a man NHLer. He filled out. Wide butt, good aggressive posture, he isn’t scared to bump into guys he might have watched play growing up, just thicker, faster, burlier.
Wait til KK goes full mountain man. Streets is done.

If Chytl was deservedly given a permanent role as a 2C and saw time on PP1, he’s likely get 30 and 60 with ease

If we don’t resign him, and have to trade him, it will turn into Buch2.0 but even worse than Buch
DatboyGruber
Called it in the hot take post before the season he would get 25 this year. I can see 30

Remember Chytil’s sick back hand snipe in playoffs last year? That’s who we’re going to get. You saw it in the Vegas goal too. He’s got the touch, the persistence, the skill to will goals.
We need Chytil, Miller, Lindgren, Kakko, schnider (sp?), then Laf.
Plus Fox, Mika, CK in a reduced role, that’s a core that can win a cup. One or two nice star powered vets to fill out top 6 (come home zuc), a couple of hardworking journey men (vesey!) and we’d be a power house.

they’re probably more concerned with extending goodrow another 5 years than this.
The FO feels we’re fine. We have Trocheck after all.

He’s incredible and a good example of why you have to be patient with prospects. Just don’t deal him as soon as he breaks out like they did with Buchnevich

We need to take a risk and get him on a long-term deal before he properly explodes.
