  1. The first five minutes were the only part of the game where they had the upper hand. No discipline for Myers is a joke, I hope the Kraken are letting the NHL know that they are inconsistent at best. The Big Rig gets a suspension for a "hit to the head" that was far less offensive.

  2. I actually read an article that insisted that Myers is not a dirty player. Hmmm.

NHL: Yeah we have regulations, so players are protected.
SEATTLE: Well, what about surprise totally out of the play hits that make heads bounce off the ice?
NHL:Well, it says right here Myers is not a dirty player, so…La dee dah, la de dah.
That situation would be less annoying only if it was less common.

And this game would be less annoying if the Kraken had been less dispirited and sloppy. Half way through the second period, I wondered where our good team had gone. Do you think that missing Matty is the reason? The same thing happened to the Leafs earlier and they're missing Mathews. Hockey is a rough, physical sport, but do you think that maybe limiting such hits as took Matty and Mathews out might be a good idea? At least insist that the League enforces those regulations that are already in place because, plainly, current practice is not working. Thanks for space to rant. GO KRAKEN!
