Where hockey?
These schedules are so wack! We last played on the 27th and the final games before the ASG are today feb 1st!
I’m ok with us getting rest but I have a feeling we will be playing a bunch of back to back and busy weeks down the stretch because of it
Vrana, Soderblom, and Ed all really finding their stride in GR is the best news.
It’s easy to forget how different the team has looked this year compared to what was expected.
Bert’s glass hands in addition to not having vrana took away 50+ goals.
That’s the way she goes, but that’s an important thing to keep in mind while thinking about how the season has gone.
If yzerman knew all this would happen, Im not sure he would have made the moves he made (chiarot, kubalik, Copp), and just let the team be going into the Bedard sweepstakes, while giving guys like simon and soda big club experience.
According to Tankathon we have the second hardest schedule the rest of the way – moving on up the lottery ?
Just for the sake of speculation cause it feels like the off-season, do you think we would be a playoff team if we had Vrana and Bertuzzi healthy for the whole season? Right now we have a -15 goal differential. With them healthy, no way we have a negative diff.
Is it prospect time? Wings future starts after the trade deadline?
