Espn sucks balls as a company and their streaming services are way below par. Continue using antiquated sports broadcasting and you get a decline in viewership. Most of your audience streams now you dumbasses. You probably have millions of people that can’t even access the games because of your moronic policies

NHL makes it SO FUCKING HARD to watch their product, and its infuriating. I’m just damn lucky I live in the Seattle region and I mostly watch Dallas games. Between NHL Network, TNT, and ESPN+ – the product distribution is just so fragmented

They started showing 2x the number of games but ratings went down 22%. It still means the number of people in total watching NHL on those networks is up what, 80%?

This is also the same in Ohio with the Bluejackets. Only way to get that station is by going with a cable company. They have no streaming service partnerships.

Its so weird to me that they blackout local games from the ESPN+ package. I was shocked when my parents said they can’t watch any Kraken games because they don’t get ROOT Sports and ESPN blocks the game but I’m able to watch every game for $5/month all because I live out of state. I guess the one benefit to being an out-of-market Kraken fan

It’s weird because I’ve watched way more NHL this season than any year and I’ve been a devoted hockey fan since I was a teenager, twenty years ago. I’ve kept up on just about every Kraken Game as well as my longtime, hometown team *LA KINGS* game.

I think the entire RSN sports TV model is about to go belly under. Streaming is the future and Diamond is right to demand it as part of the package.
