Another sub-par effort at home by the Sabres, although the Hurricanes certainly had something to do with that. This game was over in the first 10 minutes given that the Sabres played too much perimeter hockey over the 60 minutes. The Sabres may have playoff aspirations, but they'll have to play a lot better than this down the stretch or it will be yet another season without the playoffs.
Almost feel like the Hurricanes were the Harlem Globetrotters on ice this game. Too smooth and rock solid on one of the hottest offenses in the league. They ready for playoffs.
Hope the break doesn't temper this hot streak. Can't believe Skinner is in his 900th game, feels like he was a kid making his debut a year or two ago, and he got traded last week. Time flies. Hope Tage is ok, I look forward to these battles being much more intense again as Buffalo matures. Go Canes!
