so if canucks play demko it will show other teams hes no longer injured & still capable which means "better trade value" but also might get some wins and lesson the bedard chance
I would love to see Canucks trade some roster players to clean up cap, add some prospects and build out team depth. Their quality assets are too concentrated in players getting money above their production.
They are 2-3 years away and prospect cupboard is bare.

If they had listened to Linden and blown it up a couple years ago, they would probably be on the way back up now, and not mired in the 17 to 25 spot in the league. The one common denominator on the Canucks for the last 10 years is Frankie Aquilini. players, coaches, gm's, and presidents have come and gone, but Frankie is still there, and the Canucks are still a middle of the road team. PS why are we even entertaining this Demko stuff ? Its a fiction created by Toronto Urinalists because they just want a story. Also Why even bother trading Schenn ? He's only 850K a year cap hit ? Is worth losing the one rugged D man we have for such small cap space ?
Demko stunk before his injury. There is no guarantee he will play well this season after coming back. While his value is still high, it is smart ny the management group to see how much Demko can fetch! There is nothing wrong with that.
