Lot of credit to him – his original stint was a disappointment but he’s really re-invented his game to become a valuable bottom sixer instead of just petering out.
I also think he’d make a really good coach one day.

I like vessey game now. Hes like the Jesper fast of the team.

he’s definitely surprised me lately, he’s at what 8 goals now? He’ll pass Panarin’s number of goals before we know it lol

I like Vesey 2.0 so much more than the first iteration. Genuinely good bottom 6 player.

I feel like I’ve seen this headline 3 or 4 times this year now.

Vesey has been my favorite player to watch this year and will be my vote for the extra effort award.

I’m a Vesey skeptic to the bone but credit where it’s due. It’s not every day an NHL veteran successfully reinvents themselves to stay relevant and that takes a certain degree of humility and dedication. He’s become a great bottom 6 option and will never hurt for work if he keeps it up.

My friend and I were hyped about when we won the Vesey sweepstakes in 2016. It was a bummer to see him struggle and not live up to the hype.
I’m glad he’s been finally finding the footing. He’s not a top line player like a lot expected, but he works hard and does what he needs to. Bummer it took six years for it to happen, but he’s a good piece for the team regardless.

Jimmy reinvented himself into a very serviceable player. He’s a depth, glue guy who does all the small things to make the team roll.
