  1. Minus the 8 game skid they went on towards the beginning of the year, the Sabres have been one of the most consistent teams in the League.

  2. I'm a Sabres fan. I went into this season thinking that all I wanted to see was progress based off of what we saw towards the end of last season. I knew they were going to be the youngest team in the league even with a 40 year old on the team.

I was still thinking that we would not be getting into the playoffs this season but I wanted them to at least not be totally out of it by December like they had been for the past however many years. So far so good and honestly I am more than pleased.

The team is EXTREMELY likeable where the previous years teams weren't so much. Don Granato is a great coach, Adams seems to be a capable GM so far. They have this weird ability to just suck you in.

Yea, they have their ups and downs but the downs aren't so dramatic anymore like they were previously. They are young, fresh faced and I finally have faith in them. I'm looking forward to watching them all grow as players together.

  3. The 8 game losing streak was more of a result of a stockpile of blueline injuries. The Sabres have poor depth at the blueline and missing a bunch of guys there killed them in that stretch of games. Thats also before they found the magic in the Anderson/UPL tandem. Eric Comrie, while given an injured team in front of him, was certainly not helping during that skid.

  4. I was asking to just have them be young and excited. I just wanted to lose 5-4 every night. Now I'm thinking that playoffs or not this core is going to be very special

  5. Found myself a new hockey content creator to watch. Would love to hear your take on the flames! Cheers bro, keep up the great work

  6. Say you feels Hey I just discovered your channel very nice on the savers during that 8 game losing strength if you look at why they had major injuries on the back end and mathias Samuelson was out That whole time

  7. Too soon to talk playoffs. Let's analyze our progress game by game, what we do well, where we need improvement. If we're still in the hunt come March, then, yeah, let's talk playoffs.

  8. The crazy thing is that the pipe line is still deep. Savoie, lindgren, kulich, Johnson, Ōstlund, Portillo and obviously Levi. The team might run into the problem of having to much talent if just half these guys reach their potential let alone Quinn Powers and Peterka get a little more at home in the show. I too I’m very exited. I think it’s going to take a catastrophic effort for this team not to pan out.

  9. Honestly, at the start of the season i just wanted progress and maybe still be in contention for the playoffs by the end of the year. It's nice to see that finally happening. Also it would be great If the sabres could just play all the rest of the games on the road: 11-13-2 at Home 15-7-2 Away. Though that could bode well if they were to sneak in at a wild card position I guess.
