@Avalanche du Colorado

1. I personally don't have an issue playing G with Bo as a pair, when they have played together in the past they were dynamic together. I thought the goalie grades were fair, but will say this about that losing streak. During that time Frankie was still out hurt/sick/whatever other thing it was that cropped up during most of that and Georgiev had to start like 12 straight games or whatever it was. Then when Frankie got back in battery they gave him 3 straight games which allowed Georgiev some good time to reset his mind, get some good practice time in with Parkilla, and then get back in the net in a positive mind frame. There haven't been many goalie pulls this year let alone any that have resulted in the relief tender taking the L in the stats at the end of the game. BTW Shaggy, I know you love both these guys so a quick game worn jersey update – I managed to snag the Georgiev road jersey from the Global Series as well as one of the Frankie reverse retros.

  2. I disagree about Kuemper not stealing games for us. We were so good he rarely had to but he 100 percent stole the ot win in Tampa in game 4, he played fantastic that series.
    Just consider me the Kuemper fanclub lol

    My grades for the goalies would be a flat b for Frankie and an A+ for Georgiev, it would have been an A but him getting ready to fighting baby Binnington put him over the top in my book

  3. Like my Grandaddy always said
    today is the second half of the rest of your……
    Season

  4. Had exact same grades for both goalies. Overall, it’s been a bright spot and is a big reason the Avs were able to hang around with all the injuries. If they get that same level of goaltending with the team mostly healthy, I see the team climbing in the central.

    And nice start to the post all-star season with MN and Dallas both losing in regulation and Calgary in OT last night. Both the MN and Dallas losses were to bad teams as well. Puts us back in 3rd place with a win tonight. And just looking at the wildcard, we could be up five points on Calgary if they can sweep the roadtrip as they are only a point behind with three games in hand. After this tough upcoming stretch, Avs have a soft schedule the last couple months and wouldn’t surprise me to see them at the top of the central at the end of the season IF they can stay healthy. Great to see that Bo will be back tonight as well. May need a few games to get back to himself but he makes a huge difference on the backend and completely changes the dynamic of how they can play.

  5. Francy 7-7 and that is a B+???? So if he would be 7-9 a B? Georgiev is clearly the no 1. Georgiev an A- and Francouz C+.
