I do feel like Kubalik has been kind of flat lately. He was so hot at the start of the year and has been kind of invisible from my perspective lately. Curious to see how it plays out.

I think this is an outcome of the continual push for two way hockey play that is brought up in nearly every coach/gm interview. I also thik this is the other reason why they are so low on vrana. zadina showed a lot of effort in this before going down. I don’t agree with it but it aligns to way is being said.

Kubalik is not great defensively. His shot is the most valuable part of his game and recently it hasn’t looked good. He’s a very one dimensional player. Nice addition for the powerplay, but I wouldn’t mind selling him off.
Well, we’re desperate for goal scorers.
Kuby is so up and down. Not that Zadina is going to come in and without a doubt light the world on fire but I like the move.

Scratching your second leading scorer is an interesting take, I don’t necessarily disagree with, but it’s something for sure.
That being said I can’t wait for Zadina to make some boneheaded play and fans plead for him to be scratched
Kubi went hard into the boards on the breakaway/hook, I bet this is a maintenance break for him.
