I don't know what I think about the Bruins with this trade..but they are going to get Timo Mier aren't they?
Love this deal for the bruins
Tbh I wish it was Kane because of Kane and Breadman would finally be back together
This isn’t 2015 Tarasenko fyi
Deal for the Bruins is ok. Rangers get 2 good pcs but nothing astronomical so Bruins are still the odds on favourite.
So sad to see vladi go. Best of luck tank 💙💛💙💛
A big part of Tarasenko’s -18 is the Blues having the most empty netters in the league (17)
Interesting to note that former teammates getting traded for each other, since Blais won the Cup with Tarasenko in St. Louis.
Bet Jersey grabs timo now…looks like Rangers are going for it..Kane would be awesome in Toronto but I bet the price is to high….timo is going to jersey watch id like to see towes in Toronto that be sick and don't worry Steve… Ottawa has more garbage to send the Leafs it's coming…I warned ya all bout Murray 🤣what ya think bout O'reilly to Toronto?and Bedard going to sens….it's happening 💯🙏
Word is Rangers soured on Kane because a) Asking price too high b) Concerns about the hip injury he's been playing through. Meier is supposedly looking for huge bucks on a long term deal, even too rich for the Rangers. Tarasenko should work out pretty well, and Mikkola is a solid 5-6 d-man with an edge. Blues got what they could, considering both players are pending UFA's. Blais never got untracked in NYC, maybe he can find his game again back in St. Louis.
LMAO, Steve has been so damaged by the Bruins.
Pretty solid analysis, aside from the brain fart near the end, but i think there is one question that I do not feel enough people are asking: how healthy is Tarasenko these days? He asked for a trade ever since asserting that the St. Louis' medical staff botched treatment after shoulder injuries. After playing on 24 games combined in 2019-20 and 2020-21, a bounce back season in 2021-22 with 32 goals and 82 points, but with 10 goals, 29 points and a minus-18 this season, he is either in the midst of a major sulk over being dissatisfied at not receiving a prompt trade after he had requested one following the injury, or there are lingering effects of a left-handed right wing having suffered a left shoulder injury. So let's put a pause on the Rangers' Stanley Cup victory parade until we find out if the Rangers got a star ready and waiting to shine again, or damaged goods.
Good trade for both teams.
Anyone else notice these aren’t on Sportsnet anymore? Filmed directly for SDPN
Adam Wylde somewhere: Okay, but how does this affect the Leafs?
SO CAN WE MAKE A TRADE ALREADY <<< AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
well, getting a defenseman from the Rangers is usually good because the Rangers are EXPERTS at finding defensive talent. Nils Lundkvist is working out in Dallas right now.
I see them trading Accari. I think they should also trade one of barbashev or O'Reilly. If they could get 3 firsts in this draft? That would help replenish their prospect pool very quickly.
Cool video, but how does this affect Auston Matthews and the Leafs?
Poor Steve with his Bruin-addled brain…
Chicago reporters now saying Kane has had this injury for years, his production has been mostly affected by lack of any scoring on the Hawks
