    Rough shit.

    But my dudes.

It was a rust game on Tuesday. It was a game against the second best team in the NHL tonight.

Two soft calls. Two goals from it. Totally outplayed these guys tonight. Whatever shit happens.

Kraken know how to tear. Kinda dope that two loses in a row make us flip out lol big change from last season.

  2. juanthebaker

Why can’t we score in front of Gru? Someone make it make sense!

  3. getthejpeg

Sad splashes. Need to clean up those penalties.

I will say, that hold call on Yanni was pretty fucking shameful by that ref. We need to bring embellishment calls back into style because hockey is NOT supposed to be soccer.

  4. Tamaros

You bastards that bought the the reverse retro jersey need to burn it!

    /s

  5. DG_BeardGains

That holding penalty on gourde was fucking dog water.

  6. BenSoloGhost

Another Gru loss with him having a SV% over .90

  7. kanjiklubbin

Refs were a little trigger happy tonight and Blackwood was a wall. Shit happens.

  8. ThePrince_OfWhales

Can we all take a moment to appreciate how hard Gru is trying out there?

  9. Dilldozer32

Probably my fault, I wore my RR tonight, sorry all! Better game tomorrow

  10. Olbaidon

Pro: that’s five .914 sav%+ games in a row for Grubauer and an 1.8 GAA over the last 5 games.

    Cons: literally everything else.

  11. kagemac

According to the game thread, it was either a really close loss against a really good team that we lost due to bullshit calls and a weak special teams, *or* we are back to being a dogshit team worse than last year and we should all give up hope of ever having a happy future

  12. MammothMan34

Kraken are just incapable of finding the back of the net right now. Plenty of excellent looks at goal, and they just aren’t elevating their shots enough to get it done.

Also their failures in the penalty, both offensively and defensively, cost them dearly.

  13. TheAtomicMonkey

I would make the same joke I made after the last game about acting like this game didn’t count & that our next game tomorrow was our REAL first game back, but we actually scored this game so that feels wrong.

  14. B9RV2WUN

As well as Grubauer played he was outplayed by Blackwood. That and Yannis penalties were the difference in the game. Not a bad outing at all but it’s not getting any easier down the stretch .

  15. Olbaidon

Ummm he gave up 2 goals not 3 there mister post game broadcaster that I don’t know the name of.

  16. black-op345

Grubauer getting Felix’d is absolutely disgusting.

Also the refs being dog water didn’t help things.

  17. BlackSnowMarine

Good to see this team is competitive against NJ and it had to come down to some bullshit like that, but to play a game against the Isles after the break like that feels like it rubbed off for the rest of the month. Concerning trend to watch that I hope we break out of soon.

Edit: thank god Flames and Oilers just lost too

  18. _MMCXII

Time to sink like a rock until the team remembers how to score. Or even generate actual offensive pressure. Because they sure as shit aren’t going to carry themselves playing defense lol.

  19. flyingtheflannel

Apparently we scored all of our goals in the first half of the season

  20. SnuSnuMonger

Can we just never play with any empty net, please?

  21. Kooky_One_2337

Hot take: I think I like how the Kraken were playing before the all star break more than how they’re playing after the all star break.

  22. Squiggly_Jones

I felt like McCann and Beniers didn’t get a lot of ice time tonight

  23. NorthwestWatchdog

This offense looks completely lost without Burakovsky.

  24. seattlesportsguy

Can we get the team that we had before the AS break please? Not the one who couldn’t find the back of the net even if it was open.
