Loved the show wish they were longer
I love Mike modano but it makes me glad the we killed the wild because he seems to support them a lot.
It was good to see the stars dominate and clean up the second period. The long change has given them a lot of trouble this season, so seeing that period played cleaned was a good change. The 1st OT period of the playoffs will have that long change also, so they can't ignore that.
Benn’s got my vote for star of the game. A couple Wild players found a way to get under Moosh’s skin. Things could’ve taken a bad turn, but 14 completely flipped the script on playing pest. The Wild completely forgot about 27, and Benn knew exactly how to stay disciplined.
As of right now, this has to be the line setup. The more Faksa is able to show his skill the better he will be.
Gurianov on 4th… the other team won’t ever get a rest. Even if he never gets a point, he does get a breakaway just about every game. He looks dangerous enough that the other teams would have to adjust their line pairings with him.
I really can't stand the Wild. Especially Reavo the 🤡.
And….The refs were dreadful last night.
But here is the key to this game: the Wild came out balls to the wall, and within 10 minutes had nothing to show for it, and they tired themselves out for the rest of the game. I love it when I see a team trying to intimidate this team by finishing every check at the beginning of the game. And then I wait to see how quickly that changes when they get tired. It is usually about 10 minutes.
And that is exactly what happened last night.
This feels GOOD !
Wyatt was known more as a playmaker actually before making his NHL debut. He graded out better on playmaking than he did scoring. The scoring is what’s surprised most people, not really the facilitating. I think that if his line mates hadn’t changed, he would have more points.
