Canucks won't retain salary
Wasn't that a sweet goal that Tarasenko scored in his NYR debut, first shift , in fact, it was awesome. A TSH merch sale, eh? Well, it has been a minute since my last purchase and I do need another TSH hoodie, so, it's order time. Good signing by the Habs, keeping Harris, a steady player. Interesting game with both Horvat and A-Beuv scoring against their former teams, don't see that too often. Bad news for Vegas if Logan Thompson is hurt long-term, puts a lot of pressure on Adin Hill. Patrick Kane could have said something sooner in re: interest in going to NYR–now , they have Tarasenko, so, it seems unlikely he ends up with the NYR. You know, the Canes could use P. Kane to help in that upcoming playoff battlefield. Wonder if he and/or they are interested in that happening? Thanks for another excellent report.
Who are some prospects Blackhawks could target from Dallas/Vegas if Kane is traded with 50% retained?
Word is Rangers weren't thrilled with the Kane price tag, and had concerns about his hip possibly being an issue. Be interesting to see if Vegas needs a shiny new toy (Kane), but they may have goaltending issues if the injury to Thompson is serious. Wondering if Ottawa is going to trade Cam Talbot. Number of teams looking for goaltending, they could get a decent return for him, despite that he's a pending UFA.
It scares me that Canucks management are thinking of keeping Schenn. I hope it’s just maneuvering.
As a Canuck fan I would rather keep Brock. Never sell low. Guy is very talented.

Holtz,Shar, 1st and 2nd round gets it done. Then signing him for 8/72. Devils got Tatar, Haula,Wood, Bernier,Severson,Graves coming off the books so it’s possible.

My faith in Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald pulling off a major trade for a marquis forward took a big hit over the summer when he failed to land Fiala, DeBrincat, Tkachuk, or Gaudreau. Timo Meier instantly expands the number of core players and makes the Devils a legitimate cup threat. Alas, Fitzgerald is still playing the game of "call me before you do anything" He hasn't learned that old saying 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Go MAKE the deal!
