I have watched Crosby, and it’s not unusual to see him mouthing off at the refs, most of the big stars do it, they have a special status , and get a bit big for their britches. This was not an unusual shove with the stick in front of the net. Pronger or Ludwig could make guys pay who want to stand in front of the goalie. Good for the refs for shutting down Crosby ‘s mouthing.

I don't like Crosby but that's some BS. Guys aren't allowed to chirp and get in each others faces anymore? They're doing their best to take all the personality and fun out of the game.
Note to many posting here; there was a time when standing in front of your opponent's net resulted in many cross checks and far worse. Today's rule changes to make the game softer have in turn created softer players and fans who have forgotten what game they are playing/watching. Crosby has been around long enough to know and understand if he is going to play in front of the net, he is going to get hit. Superstar or not, if you do not want to be the focus of your opponent's physical play while they defend their goalie, do not play in front of the net.

Yes, can be dangerous, but 44s shove was nothing more than to push crosby forward, yet he exaggerated and jumped and then continued to lay on the ground for a 2 mins. If your losing 5-0 don't argue with the refs for 10 min, especially when they told him to go 10 times before they penalized him again.

Yes to a cross check, but I think Crosby flopped and got a bit dramatic. Maybe he just didn't want to play anymore in a 5-0 game
