@Blues de Saint-Louis

De tous les joueurs des Blues, Ivan Barbashev a probablement suscité le plus d’intérêt. Les Bruins parmi eux sont très intéressés.

Not gonna lie, watching Barbie leave would be hard to swallow unless the return is overwhelming. I’d love to keep him in the mix going forward and don’t think he’d cost too much. He’s shown the ability to play up and down the lineup and is a selfless player.

Barbashev for Montgomery and a first rounder? Lol.

  4. Imagine if you could have merged Barbie’s work ethic and heart with Tarasenko’s skill and shot!!!!

Would be pretty incredible if the Blues can get a first for Barbie. Reminds me of the Ryan Reaves trade.

Imagine the Blues have 4 firsts going into the draft? Could really speed up the rebuild.

Barbie for a 1st plus Frederic? Not many exciting Bruins prospects

I love the way Barbie plays. I would be very disappointed if he was traded

  8. If we can get a bidding war on Barbashev holy shit take the return and run.

After watching Blais last game, the right move here is trade Barbie. Get the best return you can for him. But Army needs to sit down with him and tell him we want him here so we’re going to trade you to help make the team better and let you make a playoff run and then we’ll re-sign you this summer. Bring him and Blais back and make them the 4th line with Leivo. That would be very similar to the type of bottom 6 that won us the cup and that’s a 4th line filled with 3 guys that can play up and down the lineup for you and be physical and have good enough speed.

With this, unpopular opinion but trade away walker and Toro. Love them both but it’s time to get serious here. There’s teams that will take those guys and let them have bigger roles and still brings us in assets in return. Maybe package them in deals to get other players to make us better. We have to be calculated here with the moves. Trade guys but already have a plan in place for what to do with the return and to build the future quick

If we brought back all 3 of Barbie, Blais, and Leivo you’re looking at a forward lineup of:

    Kyrou-Thomas-Buch

(need to rebuild a second line with young fast guys. Bolduc could also fill in here)

    Saad-Schenn-Neighbours

    Blais-Barbie-Leivo.

That’s a hell of a forward lineup that’s deep and can play to todays NHL and play multiple roles. And then obviously get rid of Parayko, Leddy, and Krug and rebuild the defense. That’s top priority

No offense to Krug, kid plays his ass off. I’d like to keep Barb. Get some more size on the back end.

The Leafs broadcast has talked about them sending us a 1st for barbie for a few weeks

I’m all for as many picks as they can get right now

    Trade deadlines suck

    I know, I know

    There’s just one forward

I don’t want to let go

    *Barbashev*
