I get that they wanted to include the fans with the voting, but come on, who else was it going to be?
One of my favorite things about Phil is the fact that he would rather be taken out of the HoF as a player and put back in as a builder of the game for his contributions in founding the lightning.

I thought we were getting 2-3 inductees from the list. Vinny and Marty were automatics, but the way they hyped the voting of the 20 finalists it sounded like the team was picking 2 and fans were picking another. I thought we’d get Dave and Rick Peckham with the other 2 slots.
It’s gotta feel good for Espo to have been voted in. Like, the fans just said, « this man here needs to be in the inaugural HoF. »
