Calen Addison explique pourquoi il est rayé : « Jouer effrayé, je suppose. » ne semble pas d’accord avec l’évaluation.
Asked Calen Addison what message staff gave him in scratching him. “Playing scared, I guess.” He doesn’t seem to agree with their assessment. Agrees he can round out his game + battle. But. “It’s frustrating,” he said. #mnwild

Trade?
Truthfully, I want him to remain on the club, but I want to see him do a reverse Brent Burns and switch to a wing and see how that goes. He could then still play the same spot on the powerplay, but opens up his offensive prowess while hiding his defense a bit more. I know that he has played forward a few times for us, but not enough to really get the feel for it, as it seems he usually has been a fill in for someone injured.
Needs to spend the whole off-season training with Spurge & Brodin on positioning, stick checking, leverage and board battles. Both of them aren’t big guys but can still win board battles against much larger forwards.
Needs to learn how to use his skating and stick abilities to help him be a stronger d-man since he is not big and physical. Still think he can be valuable to the team but his d-zone work needs improvement.
Scratching him to get the message across that he needs to take this shit seriously is absolutely fine to me, assuming it’s short. He HAS been shocking defensively. We want him to turn into a fantastic all around player, not Tony DeAngelo.
Dude is such an inconsistent Dman. He was hired to play 2 ways. If he was just offensive, he’d be a forward.
