In 2016 the Rams moved to LA on the basis that St. Louis was a crummy city. The Chiefs supported the move and implicitly the reasoning.
In 2017, the @StLouisBlues literally sued the City of STL to access $64mm in public funds to renovate their arena, which they ultimately got.

The NFL and the Hunt family have a long history of efforts to keep NFL out of STL presumably so that STL supports Chiefs. And it works. Lol

I dont agree with the blues stance and think it’s goofy. But the answer to « wounded civic pride » of the Rams leaving is to turn our backs on the teams we do have? Seems a little counter intuitive.
Either way, I don’t support the chiefs even if the blues do. And I’m not offended to the point that I’ll stop following the Blues. If that’s what other folks want to get up on arms about today, more power to ya.
