They are « prepared to address ». Which means they are prepared to say « What a shame this is. »

Bally going bankrupt?! That’s really sad.. But, can we get Lauren Jbara back then?

In regards to what this means for Colorado, it’s important to remember that the league IS the owners — as a collective, they’re not there to cut the legs out from KSE’s position in the deadlock between them and any cable providers. They, sadly, don’t exist to advocate for fans’ convenience unless it also benefits the franchises en masse.

As far as the situation around Bally, if the bankruptcy were to disrupt the deals currently in place, I suspect the league would willing to step in to either help broker new deals or potentially relax some of the policies to allow the teams more flexibility in offering the games through other methods.

The bubble on regional sports networks has burst nationwide, and it’ll be really interesting to see how the leagues handle that. I’m curious if MLS’s deal with Apple will be a successful model for others to follow going forward.

Honestly doubt they will do anything for us if they haven’t already. It is nearly impossible to watch the Avs even in surrounding states due to blackout restrictions. Have to do VPN tricks which is just obnoxious.

Just let people watch the sport. The more people watching will lead to more people wanting to attend games. Blackouts are just bad for everyone.
