Problem: Oilers struggling defending, and keeping pucks out of their own net. Solution: Get EK from San Jose, whose D play is atrocious. Hope GM Holland shuts out all the noise, and focuses on getting a d first type blueliner.
Am I the only one that isn't convinced that the addition of Karlsson will make Edmonton a bonified contender? With Karlsson, will the Oilers be able to beat Boston? What about Tampa? Do you think they'd beat the Leafs? The Rangers and Carolina are pretty strong. Besides, they'd still have to get by the likes of Vegas, Winnipeg, Dallas and they currently stand 4th in their division. Such a trade will make the Oilers mortgage their future and the risk Karlsson getting injured is very worrisome.
