{Smith} Entendre un appel arrive. Cela aurait du sens si c’était Adam Beckman compte tenu de la qualité de sa production offensive et de l’énergie qu’il apporte.

aggressive shooter, but shoots too much and costs his team possession with bad shots. doesn’t pass enough. basically the opposite of the current wild, but not in a good way imho.

.63 points per game in the AHL. Had a hat trick a couple games ago, but just one assist in his last 15 games. I’d rather have seen walker or rossi, at least it’s a change, but it doesn’t feel like it’ll be an impactful one if it is indeed beckman.

Was hoping for a little more of a shakeup but we’ll take what we can get.

If no other callups are made this is kinda how I’d like to see it.

Oh man, hype is up! Get ready for whoever gets called up to plug into the 4th line and get 5 minutes of ice time before being sent back down, or for it to be Fogarty who just sits in the press box.

Theoretically, just completely spinning off the top of my head here…if the Iowa Wild didn’t have a game for like 3 days while Minnesota had a game, could we bench like 6 players and just play the entire top 6 of the AHL team for literally one game then send them all back to Iowa? Y’know, for a patented Evason « MESSAGE SENDING » or whatever.

  5. If Dean is just going to play whoever they call up on the 4th line I’d rather they not call anybody up

oh boy, Beckman will fix everything. /s

There is no one in Iowa that can help get the Wild out of this mess.

Bacon is the only thing coming from Iowa that could help.

I just want to keep saying this:

In December we were one of the best teams in the league.

What was different about December than the last few months you ask?

We weren’t “healthy” and we had several call ups from Iowa that added speed and talent to these lines.

    That’s my take.

I hope this doesn’t mean Foligno is out long term

They need to do something, they are killing me right now!

I’ve cooled on Beckman a bit. I really thought he’d develop into a solid middle six scoring winger, the kind of guy who could pot 20 goals a year and get 2nd PP time.

Now, I think he’s gonna turn out to be a slightly higher energy but lower production version of Donato.

He lacks basic playmaker ability to keep offensive plays from continuing. Shoot first mentality is great, but there has to be at least a threat of a pass! From what I’ve read, he still hasn’t developed that gear.

Gotta do something. And if we’re looking to the future (while still trying to be competitive), we have to give Boldy and Kirill together a look. I know it’s sacrilege to break up PB&J, but you can’t ask Beckman to come up and be then #1 scoring option on a line. I’m struggling to find something I like better than this at the moment

    Boldy/Hartman/Kaprizov
    Zuccarello/Ek/Beckman
