À l’approche du match d’hier contre les finalistes de la coupe Stanley 2022, le Lightning de Tampa Bay, les Coyotes de l’Arizona ont fait appel au remplaçant Connor Ingram entre les tuyaux. Boy a-t-il livré, faisant quelque chose qui n’avait jamais été fait dans l’histoire de la LNH! Il a réussi 47 arrêts incroyables lors de son premier blanchissage en carrière en saison régulière, ce qui est un nouveau record de la LNH. Elliot, de l’autre côté, a eu son propre blanchissage alors que ce duel de gardiens de but a dû se rendre à une fusillade pour résoudre quoi que ce soit. Ce fut vraiment un match fantastique alors que les Coyotes continuent leur domination dans l’arène Mullet. Actually the last goalie to do this was vejmelka the other Arizona goalie with 46 in their 1st career shutout with most saves
The coyotes don't get enough credit for consistently producing/reinvigorating the amount of NHL caliber goaltenders they do.
