@Devils du New Jersey

    Ruff seemingly oblivious to the fact he’s the reason Holtz plays once a month

    This just annoys me because he could have been playing with nemec in the AHL for a long while.

    It’s not like holtz was benching himself

    Know who doesn’t need to play lots, get on the ice and be a part of the team?

    Miles Wood.

    How many times does this need to be said folks? He was given his chance and he didn’t outplay Boqvist. Send him back down so he can progress. I understand the frustration with Wood recently but if he steps it up a notch his game is still exactly what we need on our team. All of you are going to be overly pissy and disappointed come Round 1 playoffs when our boys are too soft and we need more grit.

    The question is does this effect him being part of a trade? Does assigning him at least lesson his value slightly? Or does it say he won’t be part of any deal

    Our fourth line is invisible.

    Grier told Fitz he wants to see Holtz get some games before making a decision. On the same day they moved Yegor to play with Jack and Bratt. Polishing up the cars before bringing them to auction

    I have to assume Ruff isn’t the guy making personnel moves. Yeah, he controls the lineup. But he isn’t the one who decides if Holtz goes up or down. That’s the GM. Is that everyone’s understanding of the situation?

    If so, Ruff is responsible for not inserting Holtz into games. (A decision which is pretty defendable). But it is Fitz who is responsible for Holtz having too much time away from the game. When he realized Holtz wasn’t able to crack the lineup, he should have sent him back down. He let him waste away in no mans land for too long, imo.
