Having O’Reilly as a third Center and playing with Matthews and Tavares is totally insane. That being said, it’s not that bad of a trade, but Dubas paid way too much, unless O’Reilly signs after. If it works out that’ll shut us all up forever, but if not he’s out of a job. Good luck to the Leafs.

Leafs got hosed. oreilly great player and people thought the avs were done forever after he was gone. Best thing ever. Cancer in locker room. Problems with avs, problems in buff problems with blues. Next leafs.

Now all they need is another goalie also. At the moment I would go with Joonas Korpisalo. You can’t trust on Murray to be healthy, if you need him in playoffs.

I don’t see anyone talking about Acciari in this trade, who I think is a sneaky good player on a playoff team like Toronto. I seem to remember him torturing the leafs when he was in Boston during that playoff series. Just seems he’s always around the puck kinda guy, gives the team that much more depth.

O’Reilly likely resigns as he and his wife are from the area. Underrated part of the deal and makes the first rounder easier to let go.
