Damn now that’s a trade package San Jose would laugh at. I’d wash Fitz’ feet for a month if he made that happen

If Johnsson is involved in a trade it will be for cheap veteran depth packaged with a 3rd or second depending on who we get back

Seems like a fair trade for both sides. The devils have more RD on the way so giving up a real interesting LD and a first rounder won’t be easy.

Seems like it’s low in value but Frank Seravalli has said multiple times on his podcast that he thinks the price will be lower than DeBrincat (2022 1st, 2022 2nd, 2024 3rd).
I have a feeling Grier also going to want Seamus Casey as well..especially if they have to retain 50% of Timo salary.

Idk about that trade for SJ but, it conflicts with the price that’s been out for about a month now which is a 1st+A Tier prospect or 1st + 2 B Tier prospects or 1st + B + youth roster player
I think Mukhamadullin is definitely in the trade, and probably Casey or potentially Shrango.
Last time Masisak proposed a potential Devils deal for Meier he had Holtz in with the 1st, Mukhamadullin and Johnsson. Interesting to see that Holtz is out of that now.
The Sharks’ GM should be fired on the spot if he didn’t hang up the phone immediately after the Devils proposed this offer.
Add Holtz to that and I’m still fine with it for an extended Meier.
Nothing against Holtz, but Johnsson is a negative asset, the first will be a late first, and Muk isn’t a blue chip
I don’t think this gets it done. I’m not saying the Sharks sub is the barometer for what the trade will be, but they feel it’ll be a lopsided deal unless we’re talking Nemec, 1st+ or Holtz, Casey, two 1sts. I definitely think something like Holtz, Muk, 1st is probably going to be the midpoint between the two extreme camps.
Edit: Edit to say I’d be stoked if we could get it done for a first and one of our third-tier prospects, though (assuming Luke/Nemec, then Holtz, then everyone else)
