Losses to ANA (32nd), CHI (31st), CBJ (30th), SJS (29th), ARI (28th) x2, MTL (26th) x2, STL (24th) & OTT (23rd).
They are a combined 12-6-4 against those teams. They have lost to 8 of the bottom 10 teams at least once including the very worst 5 teams by P%.
They still play VAN (27th), MTL, OTT x2 & CBJ.
This is some unacceptable nonsense.
What is interference?
Worst reffed game I’ve ever seen and by a wide margin too.
William Nylander looks more engaged than Auston Matthews this year. thats a bit concerning
Kane’s just salty we didn’t trade for him, waaagh
Boys looked tired tonight.
Justin Holl is still a liability.
Really missed Sandin tonight.
I think it’s amazing that our points percentage is so good when we get games officiated like that. Straight up just brutal
Is anyone actually surprised they lost this game? Second night of a back to back against the worst team in the league. That’s basically a guaranteed loss for this team.
sad
What even was that game? Why not just play Kallgren if Samsonov is still to sick to play. Give the team a chance.
I’d rather the loss against Chicago than a Habs win.
Bad passing, bad shooting, and no anticipation. Typical back end of a back to back.
The boys for sure need these upcoming practice days. We are stacked, but we are….disjointed at the moment. We will flow better, but we’ve added two family members and that had to be smoothed out. There’s no reason to be losing to the worst team in the league with our roster. Other than that, I think we rallied and made some amazing plays!! Go leafs go!
Can Bunting get a fucking call… like ever. This is becoming a theme.
Kerfoot and Holl have to go. Acciari could easily play on the 3rd line, he’s good.
How many career hits does Engvall have?
I’d bet $100 that Kane ends up on Boston/Tampa, probably for two 2nds or some garbage
Sammy looked lost in net tonight. The rest of the team looked like they just came off a bender.
Just piss poor effort from the team. The refs didn’t help, Kane didn’t help, but *they* didn’t cost us the game. There were hardly any connected passes, leafs kept colliding into each other, skating like elementary school children and gliding like a garage bag in the wind when they should be a *leaf*. Sammy let in a few stinkers and looked totally pedestrian for most of the game.
I get that it was a back to back but I expected better, especially after a huge trade deal. Leafs continue to embarrass themselves until when they decided to show up for « big » games.
I’m not going to read too much into tonight, they still need to work out their line ups and shit but holy fuck was it unimpressive.
Let’s pick up after ourselves and show up for the whole game on Tuesday. We need every point we can get if we want to beat Tampa.
Mostly awful game: first line was brutal and our shot accuracy, in general, was terrible. He doesn’t get a ton of points, but a lot of our offence runs through simple smart plays from Sandin.
Do the Leafs have a single player that can turn it on like Kane apparently still can? I think the reality might be that this core is either highly flawed or just not that good.
Not whipped, Kaned.
Good job boys. Another loss to a shit bag team. Real good
So I guess Kane’s not happy he didn’t get traded to us?
Toronto chokes winnable games
Wake me up when next season begins
Nothing matters this year until the playoffs. These are all just exhibition games essentially.
That being said I hope Mathews is saving it up for the playoffs. His season has been completely uninspiring. He’s not making a case for himself to be the highest paid player in the league.
Rough night. Early on looked like they might get blown out so the fact they made it close was good.
Didn’t see much of 34 again.
