I saw like 10 articles about Meier and Kane in the past two weeks, Leafs are in on this and that, maybe defense, no nevermind they want forwards, actually they want defence and forwards. Somehow the insiders never thought it’d be ROR 🤔
I call BS on that. If there weren’t reports then their team wouldn’t have told him not to talk to media the other day. Fact is there was trade talk involving him between both Kyles and I would guess that it got pretty far in the talks for Kane to be sat out like that. This looks more like him just trying to pivot. I would’ve liked him on the team but his cap is waaaay too much and we took the better option of a guy with a past broken foot over a guy that has had hip issues all season.
