Ottawa has managed to stick around and jump Florida. The Islanders/Pittsburgh rematch will be something to keep an eye on. Like Friday, I think we’d rather see Pittsburgh win that one.
I think I’m going to stick with Games Remaining instead of games played, I think it’s more relevant to track as the season winds down. No math necessary! I’m going to remain sorting by points percentage.
Going to my second game at the LCA this week. First was Seattle’s first game in Detroit last year where Adam Erne of all people scored the game winning shootout goal. Fingers crossed for 2 for 2 but the Rangers may be too hot right now

Why does everyone bad mouth Bert? Has he even made any contract demands? I would think his going rate would be 4 yrs $5 mil a year deal. I’d keep him for that

So the people we bought our new house from left their pool table in the finished basement, which was fine with us since it was pretty nice. Well, now we know why, when we tried to lift it to put sliders under the legs, two of them snapped completely in half and it fell to one side almost crushing my brother in law’s feet. They had glued all four legs to the concrete floor and carpeted *around* the pool table. Weirdest thing I’ve seen, now I have to figure out how to get this broken pile out of my house, awesome.
I’ve been on the West Coast visiting family for the last week so the West Coast games were really nice but I felt for all my fellow Wings fans back home having to burn the midnight oil to watch the Wings
I’ve been wondering why the trade Bert crowd cares if he can’t be traded and walks. After all he doesn’t play anyway cuz he’s always hurt and he’s gonna regress badly cuz of style of play and probably be out of league in 3 years after playing 50ish games.
If we do trade Bertuzzi who’s are next person that would kind be like him I just feel like Mazur can be like him?
Getting a taste of the playoffs would be good for our young guys like Seider, Raymond, Berggren and more. Even if it’s a first round exit it’s even good for our vets to get playoff ready. Next season if we make the playoffs then our players would be more ready to go.
