Man, the Pens 🐧 just can't hold a lead this year and it seems the worst thing to happen to the Kraken 🦑 was the all star break, I really hope they can get it together and make the playoffs, always exciting to see new teams do well, will help them form some genuine rivalries too.

Shesterkin got all the support he needed defensively yet couldn’t stop pucks… not gonna lie, I am worried about NYR goaltending. Shesterkin hasn’t been on the level where I think NYR has any chance in the playoffs. None of his last 5 games are .800 something. He’s not been bad this season, still at .912 but I don’t think Rangers can go far with this. Hopefully he regains his form in the playoffs

Whoa whoa whoa…Mayfield's stick was taken by Guentzel. He also then kicked his stick away when he went to get it AND THEY CALLED A PENALTY ON MAYFIELD!!! This really is an underestimated win by the isles because they played against the pens and the refs and they still won.

I don't know how it'll be possible for the Penguins to qualify for the playoffs if they aren't able to win against Metro teams. We've got 12 games left vs Metro teams, that's basically half of our remaining games, 5 of those are against NY/NJ teams. We have won 1 out of 7 games against these teams this season. This is going to be really difficult.
The Pittsburgh Penguins right now are a one line team plus lots of prayers. That is not a team that should make the playoffs. Although they may make the playoffs just to further anger their fans (myself included) and keep putting off their much needed rebuild. Sorry Penguins fans, you can't win in the NHL with slow, albeit, skilled players such as Crosby, Malkin, and Letang. All you need to do to beat the Penguins is just get in their face, push them around, hit them, and agitate them. I'm not sorry for saying this, but they are a pussy team that can't handle physical play. They can't handle it and fold easily. I don't care if coach Sullivan has 300+ wins as coach, his style and system do not work unless the team has a blend of skill, speed, and physical play.
I was watching the Jets game and yes Helle was dialed in but a lot of the shots he faced weren’t that tough for a goalie like him, the Jets were doing a good job keeping the rangers out of his eyes. But there was definitely a few shifts where I was just waiting for one to get past because of how well the rangers were cycling the puck. Well played game by the rangers and well as for the jets good thing we have a good goalie and our defence did what they could to help out. Good thing the forwards capitalized when we had the opportunity to do so

NC State beat UNC 7-3 in front of an estimated 26,000 at Carter-Finley Stadium on the same rink where the Stadium Series game was played Saturday night. I think I can safely say that it was the highest attendance ever at a club hockey game…
