The only game I missed that year as I was playing a show at Mohawk place that night in front of no one..the only bar in Buffalo without a tv….

Edit: forgot the petty little knock over Biron does to Emery, absolutely hilarious. I also forgot about Ruff and Murray yelling at each other, I legit thought Ruff was going to jump Murray.

I’ll never forget this game! I ran down to the bathroom after Drury got helped off the ice. Think they had to have the ice crew come out and clean up the blood. I came back right before the puck dropped and the usher stopped me. Ended up watching the brawl from the concourse, screaming and high fiving with the usher and some random kid. The view was so much better from that spot so it worked out. Seems like it was yesterday. 16 years…wow.

This game was the reason I own Marty’s jersey.
I wish our guys would have stood up to Milan Lucic like that when he later that dirty ass hit on Ryan Miller.
