If the Canucks can move Miller, Boeser and Schenn and bring Luke back next year, I’d classify this season as not a total failure. If anything, it’s a success compared to what could have been. I think they’re going to need to do a 3 way to get rid of the bigger contracts, though.

I'd trade Miller for a bag of pucks at this time. I was upset that he got so much on his contract. Miller will always be a 70 – 80 pts per year, 6- 7 mill most. And for me, even that's too much for him. Another bad move for a canucks brass. I would of rather of traded Miller for whatever last year, and kept horvat. I feel he is a cancer in the locker room. His play isn't horrible, but it'll never be a 100 pt pace ever in his career.
I blame ownership. Linden had the right idea. Full rebuild was needed. Even now, I feel trade everyone. We are years away from the playoffs. Petterson wants to win, let's help with that. Why stifle his play. Same with Hughes. I woulda traded boeser two years ago. OEL needs to be bought out. It's just more of the same from the owner/management. I love the Canucks, im a ride or die guy, but we are so far away from sniffing the playoffs that I wanna do right by our superstars.
