My dad and I were talking around thanksgiving that if he was feeling better we would drive up to Detroit to see the game tonight. He ended up having some health issues that kept getting in the way, so we were hoping next season instead maybe.
He passed away on Feb 6th suddenly (not due to his already existing health issues). He’s the one who got me into watching the rangers and into following hockey. The recent win streak also started the night he passed as a fun little coincidence.
So here’s for an extra strong hope for a win tonight. LGR 🏒

If we’re really going after Kane, there’s no way he won’t be playing on the same line as Bread if we get him, right? Given that assumption, I’d rather see Tarasenko with Mika and Kreider as that where he’s mostly likely to end up. Flip him with Vesey, that worked for awhile before.

Dont get me wrong seeing kane in a rangers uniform sounds exciting so how could i not want it to happen but at the same time its too good to be true. Even if it happens suddenly you got so much talent to work with and I like gallant but having him rotating who goes where becomes a job for a supreme coach, and I dont envy who has to the one to coach a team with that much talent. If you dont understand my logic look at a team like LA Dodgers, too much talent can be a problem. As it stands i feel like we’re good enough to win it all. Kane can certainly help us but it will change the way we’ve been playing. Defense is our outstanding issue of late, im lost on the notion of NEEDING kane when we NEED defense to step up.
