We now have a legit old school energy line with at least 5 guys who embody that. Foligno, Frederic, Hathaway, Greer, Lauko and Nosek as long as he doesn’t have to fight or do whatever it is he does. I think Pasta and his agent need to take a close look at what Tom Brady did when he signed his contracts. The reason the Pats were competitive for so long is because he wasn’t seeking a record breaking deal. He gave the brass money to surround him with weapons. Pasta is a great player but nowhere close to as talented as McKinnon and McDavid. These guys don’t have the mental lapses and sloppy stick handling that plagues his game. He has the second best one timer to Ovi but I’d take puck possession over one timers every time. I love the fact we now have someone in Hathaway that will be more physical than Marchand every night. Hopefully he rubs off on Nosek, Freddy and Coyle because this team can and should impose their will on opponents. I love how we now match up against the lightning and canes.
I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow cause I live just outside of Vancouver. I won't be going to see it live because last time I did I found the fans rude. Everytime they scored the people behind me would poke or slap me on the head and shoulders. Now I know not all their fans are bad but it cured me of going anyway. I would rather watch the beat down from the comforts of my Bruins Cave.The beers a heck of a lot cheaper too!
