On dirait que les choses se réchauffent sur le front commercial de Timo Meier. La liste des équipes diminue alors que les Sharks se concentrent sur ce qu’ils veulent faire…

At this point I’m expecting him to go to the devils to avoid the disappointment

I’m not going to be happy if he goes to the Devils, but at the same time I am mentally preparing myself for that outcome

There’s been no word that his agent can talk to teams yet, and apparently the devils required an extension for a deal to be done

I’m cautiously optimistic but also ready to be disappointed

If Kane to Rags happens (incessantly looks to be the case), my theory is that we and NJ both get more aggressive and more likely to offer a bigger package to Sharks. If Tarasenko was the only piece added to Rags, I’m guessing things like the Shmaltz trade would be more likely. Again, no evidence to back this but it’s been my guess based on context clues.

I really don’t want us to lose Jarvis and I don’t think we will, but Mike & Tripp sounded like they were speaking at his funeral last night and I do wonder if he’s being held as an emergency chip.

I think we still beat the devil’s if he goes there.

Beating the rags though without a significant trade if they get Kane will be very difficult.

And of course Boston got a little better as well. And a best of seven against them is always stress.

Just feel like the most probable outcome is he ends up with the Devils

Adding Kane to NYR might do more harm than good. They already have all the slots filled and adding him means someone sitting and reduced playing time for others. Its not a good morale thing. Meier is very good, not great.
