  1. Yessssssssssss. How many times have I asked for Gurianov.

    Thank you Kent

  2. psykomatt

Habs retaining 50% of Dadonov’s salary

  3. Lander-V

traded smoll russian for big russe. W

  4. georgin_95

Selling Dadonov for literally anything is a win

  5. Kent Hughes strikes again lmao. What a trade.

  6. CorsiGod

I’ve never seen a player sleep through games like Dadi did. Never once did he look interested

  7. Seb_Nation

A young (RFA) over half a ppg (before this year) who’s buried in depth in Dallas, I take that any day of the week for Daddy!

  8. bosomarly

Absolute steal. Hughes turned Weber’s contract into Gurianov. Unreal asset management.

  9. brotherreade

This is much better than a 5th

  10. Mbeaud001

Ok can l sat Hughes is the best GM since Serge Davard?

  11. Philly514

This looks like it has potential, nice!!

  12. shitwalkingsimp

    Big brain Hugues strikes agains.

I mean, everyone expect draft pick in return of Dadonov, and we get something better than a 2nd round pick.

  13. Rekrash95

Stars fan here enjoy Gurianov! Hopefully, the change of scenery will turn him into Scorianov again!

  14. Mustafarr

A good old russian swap. I think Gurianov is a nice project. The guy has an absolute laser and nice hands. He’s been absolutely snakebit this year.

IIRC, the [shot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLVnGGzgTGc) that sent the stars to the SCF a few years back was clocked in at around 110MPH

    Work your magic MSL

  15. Garianov looks like a [reclamation project](https://imgur.com/VJk62My) at this point, hopefully habs can work their magic like they did with Dach.

Good luck to Dadonov with the Stars, a real pro.

  16. jadenspan

    He’s 6’3… I’m sensing a theme here

  17. NtBtFan

hes got speed to burn from what i recall watching him, something we’ve missed a bit with Byron out, imo.

good middle six player, like others said buried by depth in Dallas, and they are in a bit of a cap crunch.

    great grab by HuGo

  18. jo_maka

Size and speed. Had some good flashes but has been inconsistent. Change of scenery could be good.

  19. superjsun

First a Dad for a Dad, and now a Nov for a Nov.

  20. GolfingGolfersGolf

Amazing trade. Low risk high reward

  21. Shifty_Pickle826

So Gurianov had 30 pts in 55 games in the COVID season, 31 in 73 last year. He also had 17 in 27 during the Stars playoff run. He’s a great reclamation project. If he can be our Nichushkin that’d be great but at least we got something for Dadonov.

  22. bluAstrid

    WHAT. THE. FUCK.

This is grand larceny, please someone give Hughes a medal or something!

  23. ASizeableMan

Im sure he could become Anderson replacement. He is kind of a power forward like him. Anderson could get trade now.

  24. G_skins31

I don’t know if he’ll be apart of the future but his odds are probably better then a late round pick I thought we’d get

  25. Papercut6

that’s… actually a really good trade. guy had a 30 points in 55 games and is only 25, and is 6’03 205 lbs. And we basically got him for free

  26. SpacemanSpiff25

Dallas fan here. Quick Gurianov summary:

Gurianov has unbelievable speed and an absolute weapon of a one-timer. It’s unreal.

Unfortunately he also has virtually no hockey awareness, is a defensive black hole, and is rarely engaged on a consistent basis.

Prepare to be frustrated at the glimpses of talent that never quite fully materialize.

He’s apparently a super smart and very very nice guy though.
