  1. Too early to say. Regular season doesn’t mean anything. Seeing what a team can accomplish during Stanley Cup hockey matters more.

  2. I played out of Boston area in 60's and have watched the B:s for 60 yrs, this is the best team I've seen, there have been some great teams but I think the depth and balance of this year's team is best.

  3. The 84-85 Oilers, 76-77 Canadiens and the 97-98 Red Wings are all better even if they do win the cup

  4. I've seen the Bruins win the Presidents Trophy and then get eliminated in the playoffs. Doesn't mean a thing if you don't win the Cup.

  5. As a Bruins fan, this season is incredible but I wouldn’t call them the best unless they win the cup.

  6. Good regular season teams have a habit of doing nothing in the playoffs, so lets just wait and see on this one shall we?

  7. One thing we've all learned over the years is that regular season success often doesn't translate into postseason success. I can only hope that's the case again this year.

  8. if they finish this season at the rate they're at right now, and then win the cup, they're undoubtedly the greatest ever.

  9. Must be since you lot forgot all about the Lightning Wings game highlights…

  10. If they win the cup yes, if they don't then they'll be known as a group of chokers. This core has lost more big games than they have won unfortunately. Being a Bruins fan I'm still recovering from 2019. It will be a massive failure if they do what they normally do. Great regular season, not so good playoffs.

  11. Every line is deep, and they don’t seem to be any holes in their game. Best ever though? Hmmmm

  12. There's a false statement in this video. The 1976-1977 Canadiens don't "hold the NHL's watermark for highest points percentage in a season". The record belongs to the 1929-1930 Boston Bruins with .875.

  13. Let's put on the breaks
Remember how a rookie Ken Dryden stonewall another greatest team of all time

  14. I could tell you, but I'm sure you already know, that this team doesn't care about setting ANY records. They want the cup. All of these articles saying that the B's are CHASING HISTORY is a bunch of fluff. It's hard enough to sustain this level of play without the added pressure and distraction presented by the media. I hope they just focus on playing hockey.

  15. As much as it pains me to say it because I can't stand the Habs, The best team I have ever seen play is the 1976-77 Montreal Canadians. They were an absolute force on the ice and have been recognized for years as the best of all time, Boston is a very very good team currently but only time will tell if they will compare.

  16. The milestone of the winning season is coming true for the bruins in 1995-1996 season the red wings won 62 games with 131 points but didn’t manage to match the Canadians record of 132 points which set in 1976-1977 however they loss the series in WCF to the Colorado avalanche in six right before winning the Stanley cup in 1997 and 1998 two years in a row and 4 Stanley cups in 11 years and 3 years ago the Tempa bay lightning did match the 1995-96 red wings record of 62 wins but got swept by the blue jackets in round 1 of the playoffs and then did win two Stanley cup titles in a row and 3 Stanley cup finals appearance in a row but failed to win 3 in a row can the Boston bruins break the record for most wins and points I hope the Boston bruins win 63 games and 133 points and they must win the Stanley cup for sure

  17. 3:09 listen to that goal horn lol. Is that just the audio technology of the time making it sound funny, or did they really get a plastic horn from party city and have a one lung chain smoker blow it?

  18. I think the veteran leadership in the room, culture, experience, and team chemistry can keep these guys on the same page and have them prepared come playoff season. Monte doesn’t have that kind of experience but he strikes me as a guy who’s always talking to veteran coaches looking for golden nuggets.
And shoot, at this point, Monte can recede into the background and just let Bergie take over and you feel like everything will work itself out.

  19. been a fan since the 70’s , this team is arguably the best bruins team i’ve watched , i believe montgomery has a lot to do with the style of play he has them playing great to see , just worried because you know what happens in the regular season means nothing

  20. Stoopid North Americans think Bear is Boston Bear. is Soviet Bear. With help of Trudeau we bring back Soviet Union Start with Hockey team

  21. BOS remaining reg season schedule is pretty grueling. lots of road games and back-to-backs. And I think their coach wants to rest the older guys a fair amount. So I think they might not hit some of these records. But they should be well positioned for a deep playoff run, for sure…

  22. Long way to go to even pose that question. Even if they win the cup I can name 5 teams that were better. And I'm a bruins fan. Be real

  23. A video that hints at being a Bruins Pep Rally includes an awful lot of clips of Boston teams getting trucked by Montreal in the post-season. And then they make arguments both for and against the "best ever" thing happening. Huh? Nothing better than wishy-washy equivocation to get hockey fans all fired up! You nailed it, Sportsnet.

  24. Been a Bruins fan for all my life. Waltham, represent. This has been the best i've seen them play ever, but it's all for naught if they don't win the cup. Anyone remember the 16-0 Patriots?
