I remember those ridiculous backhand shots he would roof skating down the wing. Noone else even attempts that shot. Beast in the bubble – honestly super important to us during that run to the finals.

Last game I went to in Dallas I watched Gurianov score the winning shootout goal. Loved watching him play and sad it didn’t work out. Thought he would be a good one for us 😢
Always liked Guri, tough to see him go. His salutes to Jamie, his 4 goal game against Calgary in the first round, and sending us the SCF in the bubble will always hold a special place to me. I’ll definitely get his jersey when it inevitably goes on sale. Kick some ass up in Montreal you beautiful Russian beatboxer.
