  1. If that's what happens when they're tired, they better take Tamp in 4 because they'll be exhausted for 5, 6 and 7.

  2. Avs had back to back games with travel and still RALLIED to beat EDM without Makar and Landeskog. If this team wants a Cup then they need grit and accountability, not excuses. As an Avs fan I am stoked to see the ROR pickup and low key rooting for you guys, but you're never gonna topple teams like TB and Boston if you keep dropping games like this. Let alone my boys out west.

  3. You think your back to backs are bad? The Oilers played a B2B Sat-Sun, and BOTH games were at 10:30am, and these were AWAY games

  4. Come on, seriously, they were tired? This is an excuse? Ridiculous, man, is this going to be the excuse for losing in the post season too? Sorry, we just couldn’t get up for that game 7 cuz, you know, we were awful tired. Look, if this team doesn’t start shouldering the opposition off the puck a whole bunch more, any opposition be it last place Anaheim or 1st place Boston, they are going to continue struggling and continue dropping a disproportionate number of games against bottom 5 teams. For the sake of @#$&, the Leafs are the only top 5 team that the bottom 5 beat regularly. It’s pathetic, it’s useless, it should not happen period, no excuses, and it’s setting them right up for another post season tanking. I can’t even imagine how anymore talent could possibly be brought to this franchise. At this point, It’s not about trades, acquisitions, prospects. It’s not about individual players, it’s about the team play, their systems, style of play, mentoring, call it what you will, but they just don’t play physically intimidating at all. Good teams, bad teams, it makes no damned difference, they take it to the Leafs with puck pressure all over the ice and the Leafs just try to skill their way through it and get trapped slapping themselves around behind their own goal line until the puck is in the twine. They don’t worry anyone, they don’t intimidate any team because physical is way easy and nearly as effective as skill. Skill is obviously really great and necessary to go to the end but in a contact sport like hockey, skill without physical dies in the early rounds. Tampa learned that against the Blue Jackets in 2018/19. It’s been this way with leafs for this entire reinvent and it never changes. Noel Acciari was the best Leaf on the ice in Chicago on Sunday, very similar in Toronto on Saturday. I wonder, was he tired?

  5. Yeah it's an L but man, not a good schedule at all. Any team that has to do stuff like this shows fatigue. Bring on the first round. We're ready.

  6. Lead us not into temptation, yelly screamy man! 😅 Lol, just kidding – totally with you on this one, Steve! 😌

I'm excited and i guarantee every Leafs fan on earth you will experience the excitement of a round TWO this postseason! They're probably not winning a cup, because i believe in order to do that you HAVE to get past the first round at least the very year before you do it. But, i do believe they HAVE one more shot next year, despite all the contract mess. So if they prepare by advancing a round THIS season, then everything's possible. Oh and btw, it's possible to win a friggen Stanley cup THIS season as well, it's just that i won't believe it THIS season, until they're one second away from the final goal horn. ^^

Edit: ok, i take back the guarantee for winning a round, sry leafs nation, i just thought over it 🙈😖😱

  7. At least in the miserable 80's they made it past the first round. Better sign Kenny Wregget just in case.

  8. Honestly I wasn't upset at all Knowing that B to B game , Time change , early game , plus knowing now that Sammy had the bug Which I had for the past Three weeks ,Not fun at all , So in a nutshell So what , I'm good with it , Relax we got this year

  9. Good thing they won't be tired in Game 7 in round one. Cause that doesn't exist. Gross excuses

  10. Totally agree…what the heck was Samsonov doing in net last night. The dude was sick, had no practice time, and Woll had a great game. Stupid decision, I questioned that as soon as I seen him in net. We would have won that game if Woll was in.

  11. pooped!!!! what an incredibly title for this one!!! love it!! ….also as a Ducks fan we thank you for your service 🫡

  12. 😶‍🌫Yup… O'Reilly made such a difference (welcome to Toronto, get used to this ROR). Like I stated before, it doesn't matter who you add to the Leafs, they will still lose games they should/could win because there is something deeper going on here. Call it a curse or whatever you want, but this is a game they should and could have won.

  13. This group is 11, 9 and 0 since Jan 1 through a pretty easy piece of the schedule. 7 of the 9 losses in this stretch were to teams well beneath them in the standings, and way beneath their pay grade. What is there to like about this? I can't see them getting home ice vs. Tampa. Prepare yourself for another letdown.

  14. I guess that’s a fair point, being tired or whatever. But I’ll just say this. You won’t see Boston losing to a bottom feeder and saying they were tired. Lol

  15. Speaking of back to backs Totonto plays Panthers then Tampa on april 11 as the 2nd game of back to back while Tampa has the Sens on april 8 and 3 days rest before the Leafs game. I imagine Bettman and the schedule maker laughing as they come up with the idea. Hopefully the leafs say screw the schedule maker we are sending the Marlies in for this one and resting the whole team for the playoffs.

  16. The 92 and 93 Blue Jays were very similar. Always got up for games against tough opponents and didn't sweat the bad teams. Things turned out ok for them. Just saying…

  17. And just as much as the big wins don't matter as much as playoff success, same with big losses. Only results that matter are wins over Tampa.

  18. Being tired is part of the Job when you're a professional athlete…..losing to Bottom feeders is getting sickening.

  19. Hey Steve,
This is my favourite video so far!!! The personification of angry Leaf's fan was 100% relatable! Literally was fuming until I watched your video LMFAO. Thanks for helping me chill out until the next barn burner! Hearing that Samsonov was that sick is absolutely stupid. We should be playing more Woll to see if he is sufficient enough as a back up during playoffs since the trade deadline is only weeks away!

On side note would love to hear your thoughts on where they would slot Knies if he signs and If some contenders fall out of the wild card what do you think that a trade Chris Tanev, Nick Jensen, Tanner Jeannot would be worth it!

  20. Um lightning fan here… after the long road trip to CO, going to a SO, then traveled that night to AZ lost in another SO, I can understand travel time zones.. but I don't feel like we can use that as a measure when it comes to back to back games… keep up the great energy steve!

  21. Thought I would share a story about pain. I was in St. Catharines over the summer and had to stop at an auto shop. As a die hard leaf fan I walk in, and on the wall is both Montreal Canadian and Chicago Blackhawk fan memorabilia the guy in front of me is in his 20's and wearing a leaf cap. The guys behind the counter start making fun of the leafs. They are both in their 60's and having a good ole time. Then they see me. They both become quiet. Pain is on their face. Here's the thing Steve I didn't do anything. it was the shirt I was wearing. It was a Dave Keon Maple leaf shirt.

  22. You missed the Holl callout on Kane's 3rd. Holl quits on the play before the whistle just before he notices the puck is going to squeak through but to late. If he sticks with it there and preemptively moves to assist Ilya there is no goal on the play. He was in perfect position to do so, and it is exactly the type of play we see in the NHL all the time where players get the sticks in behind the goalie just in case. He quit on it to early. The more I watch Holl the more I want to compare him to Phaneuf but without any of the upside. Sloppy on his feet, absolutely atrocious handling the puck, and can't think the game at the speed it plays. I know he blocks an enormous amount of shots but that is not all upside as much of that occurs as a direct result of his inability to handle the puck with any efficiency.

  23. Going off topic a bit, but if the Leafs can get Patrick Kane from Chicago & put him on the wing with Matthews & Marner, can you imagine the pucks that will fill up the net against any opponent ??
Hey, I'm allowed to dream, right ?? 😉

  24. So can we call you "Yelly screaming man" from now on? Hehe I'm with you if you are sick your coach should not have you playing

  25. "If your young and naive then I get it…" said the young and naive guy on Youtube. LMAO
