You can't complain about penalties when the Sens were straight hustling harder. Teams that work harder will draw more penalties, plain and simple
This is going to be a nail biter. We need Soggy to play well and everyone else to come out with the same energy. I don't think we are going to get the same amount of pp opportunities. A few of those calls were head scratchers.

idk what's more funny Wings fans blaming Hellberg or the refs sure the Sens got more PPs but the Wings were hooking, slashing, and interfering all game cause they weren't skating

Despite scoring six, Hellberg was amazing, at least for the first half or so of the game. At the end of the second period, I remember thinking, we could have ten by now.
Hot take: try Gambrell on a line with Giroux next time the lines go into the blender. Since that assist to Giroux against Boston(?), Gambrell and Giroux have been showing some nice chemistry when their shfits overlap.

If we can win today that’ll be huge. I am a Senators fan and I think that the refs were horrible last night, a lot of soft calls. I hope they are balanced not one sided. When refs decide games it sucks. I’ll take the win but it is not fun to watch for either party when there are that many penalties. Anyway hope we get a win today.
The stars of the game were the Senators but should also include the brutal putrid officiating as one of your stars
We know what the Red Wings have to do to change including better goaltending with Husso, better defensive coverage, stay out of the box and better officiating. My feeling is that the NHL needs to address the officiating inconsistency in the off season. Last nights officiating was a joke.
Oh yes Wings need to be more physical and shut Brady's yap.
