That’s a huge draft pick for sending his rights over, unless SJS signs him right away. But still, a W
Not bad for a former 4th rounder who wasn’t signing with us anyways.
Verbeek’s starting to cook 👀
Getting a return on a guy who wasn’t signing here is pretty good work by Verbeek.
What the fuck is San Jose smoking on that return? He already said hard pass on signing with us. Its like giving someone $100 to take out your trash when you met them halfway to the dumpster.
Ayo better than nothing, I’ll take it. I’ll always sorta not like Henry Thrun even though he informed the team of his intention in not signing which I appreciate. Lol.
3rd rounder for someone who might not even sign with the sharks in the end? 🤣 Verbeek win
Glad we got rid of that clown.
Guy doesn’t want to win a cup in 5 years. We all have our own beliefs
I don’t get it. Why would Thrun want to play for the Sharks anymore than he would the Ducks?
That’s pretty awesome
Who?
Got a third, and now have a new JSchultz to boo if he ever makes it to the show
Hope this is the 1st of many trades
This is definitely a head scratcher for Mike Grier as I have doubts that Thrun would sign with San Jose.
On the left side of the defense they already have Vlasic, Ferraro, Simek, MacDonald, Mukhamadullin, Cicek, Kniazev, Okhotiuk, and Furlong among others.
Kinda annoying that if he pans out he’ll be with the Sharks but whatever, good luck to him.
Good job by Pat to get a 3rd for a dude who wasn’t going to stick around.
Can’t be mad with that return. Also, kudos to Thrun for not being a piece of garbage like Schultz. The only reason we were able to get a return on him is because he was honest with Verbeek.
A 3rd round pick for a player who would never play a a minute of ice time here? Score!
Since San Jose is likely to be a lottery team next season, it should be a very good third round pick, too.
getting a 3rd back is fine i guess.
