last week on kipper and bourne in the chat we were discussing korpisalo and bourne was like no way they have a 2 time cup winner in murray and we were like ya but he gets injured tying his skate laces , well guess what today he back tracked and said the leafs are now all in and should look for another goalie maybe korpisalo lol , i like kipper but man bourne he he makes me wonder some times lol

Obviously Matthews is a Stud, now showing much more than just scoring. Now Willy and Mitch are maturing into men. We're going to win…soon.
quite sad abt losing sandin was one of my fav players hopefully he can do good w caps and Gustavsson does good here

You could tell Engvall and Sandin were being forced into roles they couldn’t fill permanently, I like both moves, as much as I’ll miss them.
These new faces who aren't haunted by the last many years of heartbreak will really help push them over the top and give the Lightning fits on both ends of the ice. I don't think Tampa has an answer to this lineup unless it's vasilevsky but like I said u think these guys coming from the west are intimidated by vasi? O'Reilly is gonna be knocking on his door every shift and these grinders we brought in are gonna make life hell for those defenders. Hedman, Kucherov and Point are gonna have to have a heck of a series to beat us this year. It won't be Nick Paul beating jack Campbell for the series winning goal…no more softies now that the Sandy and Pierre are gone. Samsonov is gonna bring his A game when he knows he's up against his Russian idol across the rink. If we can win on special teams we'll win the series I think.

This has to be a really tough time of year for you guys, yet, as a fan, I am really excited about the changes being made. It is honestly giving me hope that a deep playoff run is in the works. This may be the year that you guys achieve your dreams of the winning the cup. Please remember though, as tough as this is, playoffs are going to be super physical, but I beLeaf that you guys are going to do great this year.

It took Dubas too long too realize that speed and skill aren't enough in the playoff and he needed team toughness to advance. I like most of the players Dubas picked up but it seems like too much all at once. Team chemistry is a thing and having all these new players in one week kind of makes me worried about how they'll work together. Half of these kind of players needed to be on the team at the beginning of the season.
I’ve been watching this team from afar this year. Knowing that the regular season doesn’t really matter. It’s the playoffs where they will leave their mark. But yesterdays trades have given me a reason to watch every game down the stretch. I’m always hopeful of a Cup win but let’s get at least a deep run in the playoffs this year. GO LEAFS GO!!!
