First game for 91 where he’s the most critical / integral to the team earning 2 pts, playing a part in all 3 goals. Nice to see. Stating to get a sense of his place, his footing, his teammates…let’s hope.

Whatever happens this year gotta give Drury props. He’s put together a roster that is capable of winning a cup. Whether they do is dependent on the players, Gallant, and frankly just plain luck. But Drury’s done his job. Twice in a row he’s aced the deadline.
This offseason will be difficult for him but he’s earned the fanbase’s trust to navigate through it. Besides the Buch trade(and maaaybe a little too much for Goodrow) he’s done just about as good as anyone could have asked for.
Man after that win tonight I cannot wait to see tomorrows game, I’m sure the garden is gonna be pretty loud

I was fully expecting the kid line to win it at the end of regulation. They looked really good tonight, especially Laffy.
Philly really wanted to beat us tonight and it showed, I think we went in expecting to play badly with only 16 and that showed too. In the end we pulled it out by being a little less reckless in the 3rd and shesty helped us out there too. I feel like we are a good OT team though, wasn’t worried at all after regulation time ran out.
Tomorrow is going to SMACK with a full roster I’m so excited

I’m really excited to see Kane’s debut and see how he fits in this lineup. I think the Garden’s atmosphere will be amazing tomorrow.
Tarasenko carried the goal scoring tonight but the kids looked great too. Once Kane gets a few games to gel, I think this team will be a real threat. It’s been a fun ride already, but I’d love to see some momentum and a strong push towards the post-season!
Imagine a week or 2 from now when Lindgren is back, Kane is in, and all the new/returning players begin to really gel. They’re going to be dominant

i was at the game tonight and it was 75% rangers fans, we did the potvin sucks chant and did the goal song when we scored and it really felt like a satellite of madison square garden lol. love the sense of community you find as a rangers fan at away games! let’s go rangers and merry kanemas eve everyone 💕 can’t wait to watch the game tomorrow
Devils meltdown is satisfying to watch
For as poorly as they played in the 2nd, and it really was a horrendous period, even down two players and with this game not meaning shit, they came out angry in that 3rd and played a hell of a period for pride.
They didn’t need this game, had plenty of excuses, things were going to reset in a way tomorrow night and they could start fresh, but they still went out and got it because they don’t like to lose.

Even shorthanded and at what at time looked like half speed there was just no way the Rangers were losing this game. OT was complete and total domination. Feels good to be on a little streak for Kane’s arrival.
Damn, I’ve been wondering about whose to get for my first NYR jersey. Was thinking of Lundqvist since he’s probably my favorite Ranger. (FYI, I grew up with the ’94 team). Then I was thinking Mika, but now I’m really leaning towards Senko. I loved that Blues run against Boston to boot.

On the first day of Mika March and their newest arrival first game a day later, the Gang traveled to the city of Philadelphia. Where the opponents were trying to give out kitten mittens once again. I thought after the first the Rangers could have blown them out. Until taking bad penalties which led to the Tippett goal. Can’t do that when you have to play 5 dmen.
Second period, Turk said, probably everyone here said it, that second period was sloppy. bad turnovers in their own zone plus bad zone exits. Too many odd man rushes in that period. I was thinking they were gonna let Igor out to dry. BUT he kept them in the game. However the Rangers can’t play like that in the playoffs or against hungry teams that are fighting tooth and nail to get in.
3rd period, all Rangers. Shot after shot, after shot. Seemed like the puck wouldnt go in. Yute line looked great as well. Until Volva wrist shot was deflected by Christopher James Kreider.
