I mean, a good GM should always shop around. There’s no untouchable player. It all depends on the offer.

  2. cram9800

Allvins been stewing up a hot pile of shit thats for sure

No one is sure what to make of the plan, Frank? They are retooling and looking for players 26/25 years old and younger to get back in the hunt in a couple years. They were never keeping all their picks. Thats what you do in a rebuild… which was never on the table. If anyone is surprised or « dosesnt know what to make of it » I suggest they go listen to what the organization has been saying. They’ve repeated it many many times over the past few months.

But to be fair the media isn’t being told what’s going on personally by management themselves. As others on this sub have pointed out, no one even mentioned the islanders for Bo. And no one mentioned anything about a deal with Detroit. So let’s just take this with a grain of salt and talk again Friday afternoon. Plus there might be a lot going on in the summer too with Myers and his bonus etc etc.

I guess we just have to admit that we are still two years away from contending….. again.

I’m still banking on Rutherfords words “major surgery”, along w the cap situation rn, idk wtf he’s going to do but I agree it’s not finished; still don’t like the trade today

The old plan of having no plan at all. Maybe it just might work

  8. TarsesaK

I liked the trade. Hronek is great and meets a need. « Insiders » oft criticize an organizations moves if it doesn’t line up with their Twitter gueses

Agreed. Wait and see how this whole thing shapes out.

The detroit deal looks nuts right now. But if this is gonna be a complete roster turnover it does make sense.. this team added a top 4 RD, 3 solid looking prospects (raty, kravtsov, bloom), beauvillier, and a third round pick and it only cost them horvat, a 2nd, and an expiring schenn who may resign here anyways. I would take those assets and roll on.

Whatever they’re cooking smells like shit.

  11. rengorengar

Allvin probably received so many calls after that trade was announced, seeing if they could get our 1st this year for one of their 25-27 year olds

  12. Winnie_Cat

I thought they were trying to trade Demko? Now he’s off the table?

  13. burdsandwich

Judgement reserved until then. Cool heads preside

  14. begginforme

Let’s see how this pans out…. good or worse.

“I’m in Danger” – Canucks 1st round pick

  16. >No one is really quite sure what to make of the Canucks’ plan

That’s the story of the last decade.

  17. rippinkitten18

Sounds like a f in stupid plan. Doesn’t sound like a plan at all. No action no initiative no nothing.
