This Bruins team is by far the most dominant team that I have ever seen, and they are collectively the most skilled team since the 1970 to 1974 teams of Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito. Of Course Bobby Orr wasn't from this Planet! This Team is beyond special.
The 100 points thing is not extremely impressive considering losing in OT and getting a point from it was not a thing for like 90% of the NHL's history. Still very cool but not shockingly cool.
First to 100 points this season. Did it in record breaking 61 games. Lauko went on a tear. Clifton Orlov Bergy and Zacha scored. Pasta signed long term and acquired Tyler Bertuzzi. Safe to say this was a good day for the Boston bruins.
People are thinking about how dominant The Boston Bruins are, but I remember a team that was this dominant. It was the 2019 Tampa Bay Lightning! They ended up getting swept by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the playoffs. Just putting that out there!
This team is, truly, on a mission. I've never seen anything like it. They are relentless. Everyone is a plus stick handler. They do have defensive lapses here and there, but…my goodness. This team is insanely good. Two excellent goaltenders. The offensive ability is off the charts. Three excellent defensive pairs. They are loaded. As a 50 year Bruins fan, I just hope they keep up the intensity and can bring home a Cup.
Can't blame Upl, sabres man coverage is PATHETIC ! If they can't make the playoffs, play the young from Rochester and go for a Defensive pick – a big guy
Buffalo is a pretty good team offesively. Boston made them look like they were from the AHL. I sure hope this Boston team stays healthy during their run. I'd love to see them hoist the cup one more time in my lifetime. And the Bruins are maybe my 2nd or 3rd team of fandom…
