  1. Hunter ,great work as usual. For all the negative talk about Hex in the penguins community, he seems to have fixed several problem contracts that he created (kap and mc ginn) and added some decent players for the bottom 6 (bonino and grandlund) . Team is coming together. Whether this was his vision to began with or he's just shooting from the hip will probably never be known. But, a painter always makes mistakes on his way to creating a master piece. I'm excited to see how this team looks and their chemistry by the playoffs. Go Penns!!!!

  2. If anything Kulikov is liked you said Hunter, he adds depth. This was more of a move to rid themselves of Brock McGinn's contract. Kulikov is a UFA and he in no way is back with the team next year.

  3. If anything these moves were not meant to make The Penguins a Stanley Cup Contender. I think more so to kind reset and prepare for the offseason. Even with Granlund's contract, the team has exactly $17,900,000 in cap space for the off-season. So that is a pretty good chunk of cap space to work with. We know Bonino and Kulikov are not here next year, so I was fine with that the team gave up for them.
