  1. Really disappointed with this. Gallant was praised as a more laid-back coach when he first came to NY, and it was in direct opposition to David Quinn, who was a micromanager. It worked last season, but now, the players have taken a way too laid-back approach to everything. You can see a LACK of desperation and competitiveness, and for the love of god, how many shifts and fails do you need to break up bread and Kane. These lines aren't working. They were working pre-Kane, and now the lines need some juggling. The kid line has been horrendous. How do you expect to win in the playoffs if this team can't even receive a pass, or actually manage the puck decently? I'm very disappointed that GG just waves his wand post-game and acts like glaring issues in the Rangers system are a non-issue.

  2. The Rangers lack size, toughness, and defense and they could use consistent goaltending.

They're also very inconsistent and with all the new players, they have no chemistry. If they make the playoffs, it will be a short series.

  3. This team needs a displine coach playing soft hockey in all zones and no consistency

  4. The 2011 eagles were called the dream team…and won nothing. Until proven otherwise, Boston is the best team, which is sad since this is possibly the best Ranger team on paper ever, and yet we’re STILL not the best this year, the usual ranger fate.

  5. If you want to fix the power play just watch Marchand , the puck gets fed to an open shot almost every time

  6. Yeap! There is work that needs to be done for sure.
Nowadays almost every player in the league is able to intercept the puck in mid air, so the east-west plays are more difficult than ever even if you elevate the puck.
Obviously Panarin don't see that as he's trying 80 feet passes through a bunch of players way too often and with very limited success. He's stubborn like a mule.
But with all the talent they assembled the pressure is clearly on the coaching staff to make this work.

  7. The team my look like GREAT on paper , But I’ve seen this in the past. , it doesn’t matter unless “they” have the desire and drive to make it !

  8. Can’t panic. Need time to gel and get comfortable. We have plenty of time to tune up before the playoff grind.

  9. Jon Cooper benched stamkos, point and kucherov in the third period today against buffalo. He’s the best coach in the league. Sometimes you have to send a message to your star players. Our kid line has been best line last few games yet kreider continues to get more even strength ice time. Unreal

  10. That’s all they do is go for cross ice passes. They need to go to the net ! Our 2 goals were because we went to the net.
    Coach is clueless

  11. Look. This “terrible game” is a great loss in my opinion. so many assets not playing. all the trades and so little chemistry and we only lose by 2 to the juggernaut of the league. week of training, getting guys back on the ice, theyre gonna get it together. and when they do….watch out.

  12. Gallant felt he had to say that it wasn't only Kane and Panerin that gave the puck away with their east west passes. Sure Gerard, but most of our east west passes that went to Boston were committed by both of them. Panerin single handily killed our PP early in third with those cross ice seam passes. Then he leaves Bergeron all alone in the high slot after looking right at him two seconds before. The man drives me insane sometimes.

  13. RANGERS AND “CUP CONTENDERS” SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO MENTION IN THE SAME SENTENCE, BECAUSE THE RANGERS SUCK ASS WHAT A “SHOWTIME” LOL 😂 KANES BEST DAYS ARE OVER LOOKS SLOW AND LOST OUT THERE ALSO 6+ turnovers again today and terrible on the ice 🧊 was
    On the ice
For every bruins goal -4 & 0 points lol 😂 I’m loving every second of this The Rangers are getting what they deserve! Beatdowns! Lol 😝

  14. Kane hasn’t played really meaningful hockey for years. He hasn’t been a positive +/- player since 19-20. And we all know he’s not helping you defensively. And I’m a huge Kane fan, but these are just facts. I hope he and the Rangers succeed, but bringing in Kane and Terasenko strikes me as reaching a bit for big names and past success rather than building the most complete hockey team. We’ll see

  15. Let Boston feel warm and cozy about this win, we may see them again in playoffs 😉

  16. “Overall it was pretty good: let’s up a short handed goal in the first minute of the second period fowards we’re non existent today expet for laf coach is clueless

  17. Nothing to be ashamed of boys missing Miller and Lindgren and only lose 4-2 bruins

  18. Allot of other NHL players that “float” like Kane, see about 13-14 minutes of ice per game. I think Kane is better suited for the 3rd line. Then he can play every power play and he won’t be as fatigued. Kane is great offensively but is a defensive liability it’s pretty obvious.

  19. It's a system issue. Forget the fact that they were down 2 players. Fire this coaching staff
