Ping pong balls rooting interests for today:

    BUF over EDM

    CAL over DAL

    OTT over CHI

    WSH over LAK

NSH over VAN: (This one is your choice. If Nashville wins, that goes towards the NYI pick being better. If you think Vancouver is going to make up 10 points in 20 games on us and pass us in the standings, root for them.)

    Playoffs rooting interests for today:

The opposite. And you don’t have to worry about CAL/DAL or NSH/VAN games.

i don’t think the NHL has an agenda against the Wings necessarily, i think they’re just so obsessed with their “growing the game in non-traditional hockey markets in the US” plan (hello Arizona, NC) that they don’t give a crap if they piss off the established/traditional markets in the process.

they know we’re loyal, they have proof that we’ll keep coming back for more even if/when our teams suck and our cities don’t get rewarded with outdoor games or events like the Draft, so they take us for granted. Michigan in particular – so many NHLers are from or have lived here, the NTDP is here, the college teams are popular and UM is now attracting top Canadian players too, the Griffins have fantastic attendance numbers despite their recent struggles… Bettman knows we’re not leaving

    Wings can’t lose today.

    It’s a good day

Getting out of the hockey card hobby right before Seider and Raymond showed up saved me a lot of money lol.

Also updated cherrypicked Cossa stat, Last 11 starts: .953 SV% 4 shutouts.

I know Seider is a beast and can make bone crushing hits, but last night he almost mixed it up with Deslauriers. Not sure if our boy is a scrapper

Where are my Wings fans from outside MI? I live in, and grew up in, Central NY. I used to go to Binghamton Whalers games in the 80s as a kid and saw the Adirondack Red Wings one night. I loved their uniforms, got a Red Wings puck in the gift shop and started following them in the paper (pre-internet days lol). Grew up watching Isles and Devils games on Sports Channel and fell in love with the game.

Now what…. A lottery pick is what we need. I’ve said it since Stevie came home, we do it right draft our guys where we can build, and just need to hit one lottery pick. A little bit of luck our way would go so far.

Michkov is playing at 0.74PPG with HK Sochi right now as an 18 year old (December birthday as well). That’s exceptional.

If it weren’t the Bedard draft, he’d be the undisputed #1 overall pick.

For reference, that’s higher than Kuznetsov, Tarasenko, Panarin & Kaprizov.

  9. Which jerseys should my wife and I wear to the Wings Vs. Flyers on the 25th? I’ve got home Raymond, military appreciation Seider, and away McCarty. We are sitting directly behind the boys bench.

Very curious who ends up where regarding Grand Rapids next year. We already have Hanas and Soderblom there but there’s a lot of potential prospects to add.

Lombardi, Tyutyayev, Mazur, Doucet, Mastrosimone could all be considered to join the team, not to mention potentially Kasper.

  11. I hope 2022 2nd round pick Dylan James can have an excellent finish to his season and then really take off and excel and exceed expectations next season.

Idk why any business would ship using Fed Ex.

Half of my package arrived Saturday and the other half has an ETA for “TBD”

Call me a fool. Downvote me.

Leo Carlson. Swede, 6’3”, 200, center, power player. Dominating and Uber physical. Best match for Wings in draft.

    Watch some highlights.

I wonder what the record is for goals by an individual and team in back to back games. I have a feeling we’re going to be on the not-fun end of something historic this weekend against Boston.
