By rule, that’s probably a good goal, but the NHL should really look into changing the wording of that rule…. To me, he directs the puck into the net with his leg, and that SHOULDNT be a goal, even though it’s the correct call right now.
Hockey players are allowed to use their body to try and stop or control the puck. He didn’t kick it in, he tried to use his body to stop the puck and it deflected into net.
Big win for the NYI beating back the charging Sabres. They are finally getting some traction winning some key games lately. They won in regulation to keep the Sabres from getting the loser point.
These announcers are awful. ESPN needs their contract terminated immediately, I can speak for all hockey fans. We isles fans couldn't watch the biggest game of the year so far
