This is 1971 you would think this would be in color by now
I liked the PA announcer only using last names when announcing scorers on goals.
Any Leafs games from 2000-01? Like the game where Domi attacked a fan?
Aggressive fore-check by Pit Martin resulted in a goal. Great clip!
99% of the players not wearing helmets, and like 1 of the 2 or 3 that did wear a helmet in this game, got hit in the face with a puck. That's exactly why players shouldn't wear helmets, they attract pucks.
Im so old my memories are in black and white.
RIP to my all-time hockey hero, the great Tony 0. 🙁
Nutcase Ballard and Clancy in that cement bunker,''All Star Wrestling,'' Paul Morris: those were the days.
Jacques Plante was truly a game changer with his fiberglass masks which I wore several different ones. My favorite was his original mask and the man was truly a performer, an accomplished athlete and transformed the game with his poke check and roaming style. If there was ever a deserving candidate for the Order of Canada, JP is overdue. An author and more, he was a character unlike others….RIP Jacques Plante. Like Esposito, Vachon, Giacomin and Plante those goalies were tough as nails.

First play shows Plante getting a reminder of why he wears the mask. Classic.
